Our Vanilla Cake Mix makes a classic Victoria Sponge that's light and moist. A fantastic afternoon pick me up, which can be make with minimal baking knowledge and time.

Recipe ingredients

500g pack Ta-Da! Vanilla Cake Mix
135ml vegetable oil
240ml water
100g chocolate chips

Equipment

Large mixing bowl
15 muffin cases
Measuring jug
Preheated 180°C, gas mark 4

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4.

Step 2

Place the vanilla cake mix into a bowl and add the water and oil.

Step 3

Using a large spoon, mix until a smooth batter is formed and add 100g of chocolate chips.

Step 4

Deposit 65g of batter into each muffin case.

Step 5

Bake for 22-24 minutes
