Vanilla Cupcakes

Whip up these moreish vanilla cupcakes in under 35 minutes. This Ta-Da! recipe uses the moist Vanilla Cake Mix and Madagascan Vanilla Icing.
Recipe ingredients
- 400g Ta-Da! Vanilla Cake Mix
- 200ml water
- 100ml Vegetable oil
- 370g Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing
- 75 Baking margarine/butter
- Coloured sprinkles
Equipment
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- 12 muffin tin and cases
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
- Piping bag with star tube
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Line a 12 hole muffin tin with 12 muffin cases.
Step 2
Place the cake mix in a large bowl and mix in the water and the oil to form a smooth batter. Divide the mix between the muffin cases and bake for 25 minutes and allow to cool.
Step 3
Place the vanilla icing and the margarine or butter into a bowl, using a large spoon, beat until a smooth cream is formed.
Step 4
Using a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle, pipe a 35g swirl of the vanilla cream onto the middle of each cupcake, sprinkle over a few 100s & 1000s to finish.
