Tuxedo Marbled Cupcakes

A delicious mix of Madagascan Vanilla and Chocolate Ganache Style Icing from Ta-Da! to top a moist and moreish base with the same flavours.
Recipe ingredients
- 400g Ta-Da! Vanilla Cake Mix
- 400g Ta-Da! Chocolate Cake Mix
- 400ml water
- 200ml Vegetable oil
- 370g Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing
- 370g Ta-Da! Chocolate Ganache Style Icing
Equipment
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- 2 x 12 muffin tin and cases
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
- Piping bag with star tube
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Line 2 x12 hole muffin tins with 24 muffin cases.
Step 2
Place the chocolate cake mix in a large bowl with the 200g of water and 100g of oil to form a smooth batter.
Step 3
Place the vanilla cake mix in the other large bowl with the 200g of water and 100g of oil to form a smooth batter.
Step 4
Dot spoonful’s of the chocolate cake batter onto the vanilla cake batter and swirl with the tip of a sharp knife. Divide the marbled mix between the muffin cases and bake for 25 minutes and allow to cool.
Step 5
Using a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle, place the chocolate icing down one side of the bag and the vanilla icing down the other side of the bag. You should now have both icings inside the one piping bag. (This could also be achieved by using 3 piping bags, 1 filled with vanilla icing, 1 filled with chocolate icing and one fitted with a star nozzle. Snip the ends of the filled piping bags at the same point and place them both inside the piping bag fitted with the star nozzle).
Step 6
Pipe a 30g two coloured swirl into the centre of each marbled cupcake to finish.
