Spiced Cranberry, Chocolate & Walnut Brownies

A seasonal twist on a classic brownie recipe. Made easy with our Ta-Da! Chocolate Brownie Mix, chewy cranberries and crunchy walnuts.
Recipe ingredients
- 500g pack Ta-Da! Chocolate Brownie Mix
- 140ml water
- 2 tsp mixed spice
- 60g plain chocolate, melted
- 50g walnuts, chopped
- 50g dried cranberries, roughly chopped
- Icing sugar to serve
Equipment
- Large mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- Greased and lined 22cm square tin
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4.
Step 2
Grease and line a 22cm square tin.
Step 3
Place the brownie mix in a bowl with the mixed spice.
Step 4
Stir in 140ml water and the melted chocolate and mix for 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Mix in ¾ of the walnuts and cranberries and spoon into the prepared tin.
Step 6
Sprinkle over the remaining walnuts and cranberries and bake for 30 minutes, allowing to cool before removing from the tin.
Step 7
Dust with a little icing sugar and cut into 9 squares.
