Millionaire’s Caramel Slice

Make unbeatable millionaire's shortbread with Ta-Da! Millionaire's Caramel, perfect for sharing (or not!).
Recipe ingredients
- 100g Butter, softened
- 45g Caster sugar
- 150g Plain flour
- 370g Ta-Da! Millionaire's Caramel
- 150g Dark chocolate

- 1 Large mixing bowl
- 22cm square baking tray
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
- Microwave
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Base line a 22cm square baking tin.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and the sugar together until smooth. Stir in the flour to get a smooth paste.
Step 3
Press the shortbread paste into the prepared baking tray, using a fork, make holes all over the shortbread base and bake for 15 -18 minutes or until a light golden colour. Allow to cool.
Step 4
Gently warm the millionaires caramel in a microwave. Poor and flood the shortbread base with the warmed millionaires caramel, allow to cool and set.
Step 5
In a bowl gently melt the dark chocolate and flood the top of the caramel ensuring a good covering. Allow to set before cutting into 9 squares.
