Iced Finger Buns

Made with Ta-Da! White Bread Mix which contains sourdough, topped with the deliciously smooth Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing.
Recipe ingredients
- 400g Ta-Da! White Bread Mix
- 20g Baking margarine
- 40g Caster sugar
- 240ml Water (tepid)
- 370g Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing
Equipment
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- Baking tray
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
- Microwave
- Pallet knife
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 230°C or gas mark 8. Line a large baking tray with basking parchment.
Step 2
Place the white bread mix, margarine and sugar in a bowl, then stir in the water. Knead by hand or mix using a dough hook, until a smooth dough is formed.
Step 3
Divide into 12 pieces and knead into round shapes, allow to rest for 2 minutes. Now rested, roll the round shapes into finger shapes. Place the finger buns in 2 rows of 6, batched quite closely together, onto the prepared baking tray. Cover with clingfilm and leave to rest until the buns double in size.
Step 4
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Once cooled, separate the buns.
Step 5
In a bowl warm the vanilla icing in a microwave to a dipping consistency. Dip each bun in approximately 12g of the warmed vanilla icing, scraping off the excess using a pallet knife or a finger.
