Christmas Snowflake Cinnamon Swirls

Recipe ingredients
- 400g Ta-Da! White Bread Mix
- 75g Baking margarine
- 2 tsp ground Cinnamon
- 60g Caster sugar
- 240ml Water (tepid)
- 18g Light brown sugar
- Ta-Da! ½ x 370g Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing (555g)
- 9 x Edible Snowflake decorations
- Icing sugar for dusting

- 1 Large mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- 22cm Square baking tin
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
- Microwave
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Base line a 22cm square baking tin.
Step 2
Place the white bread mix, 40g margarine, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and 40g caster sugar to a bowl, then stir in the water.
Step 3
Knead by hand or mix using a dough hook, until a smooth dough is formed. Rest for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Whilst the dough is resting, place the remaining margarine, remaining caster, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and the sugar into a bowl, using a large spoon, beat until a smooth paste is formed.
Step 5
On a floured surface, roll out the dough to an approximate 35x30cm rectangle. Using a trowel pallet knife, spread with the cinnamon paste, over the dough and roll up from the long end. Cut into 9 equal buns and place them upright into the prepared baking tin. Cover with clingfilm and leave to rest until the buns double in size.
Step 6
Bake for 18 – 20 minutes. Allow to cool.
Step 7
In a bowl, gently warm the vanilla icing and spoon over the buns making swirl pattens as you go. Decorate with edible snowflakes and a dusting of icing sugar.
Step 8
Once set, separate into 9 buns to serve.
