Caramel Chocolate Drip Cake

Transform your special occasion with our irresistible Caramel Chocolate Drip Cake, deliciously finished with Ta-Da!'s iconic Millionaire's Caramel.
Recipe ingredients
- 800g Ta-Da! Chocolate Cake Mix
- 400ml water
- 200ml Vegetable oil
- 1½ x 370g Ta-Da! Millionaire's Caramel (555g)
- 75g Baking margarine/butter
- 100g Caramel filled chocolate drops, roughly chopped
Equipment
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- Measuring jug
- 4 x 20cm cake tins (use shallow tin)
- Preheated oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
- Comb scraper
- Pallet knife
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Grease and base line 4 x 20cm round cake tins.
Step 2
Place the chocolate cake mix into a bowl and add the water and oil. Using a large spoon, mix until a smooth batter is formed.
Step 3
Deposit the batter into 4 greased and lined 20cm round cake tins
Step 4
Bake for 28-30 minutes, then allow to cool.
Step 5
Place the 1 tub Ta-Da! Millionaire's Caramel and the margarine or butter into a bowl, using a large spoon, beat until a smooth cream is formed.
Step 6
Spread 80g of the caramel cream onto one sponge and then place the other sponge on top. Repeat this step three more times, placing the final sponge on top.
Step 7
Using a pallet knife coat the outside of the cake with the remaining caramel cream. Run a comb scraper, smaller side up around the outside of the cake.
Step 8
Warm the remaining Ta-Da! Millionaire's Caramel in a microwave and pour over the top of the cake allowing a small amount to drip down the sides of the cake. Decorate with the caramel filled chocolate drops to finish.
